Barrett Stephens, a native of South Louisiana, is a trial attorney at Edward J. Womac, Jr. & Associates. Mr. Stephens practices in the area of civil litigation with a concentration in the areas of catastrophic injury, automobile accidents, 18 wheeler accidents, and company car accidents. Mr. Stephens earned a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences from Louisiana State University where he majored in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology. Mr. Stephens earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University, New Orleans where he graduated with Law Review honors and also competed on the Moot Court National Team. After graduating from Loyola’s law school, Mr. Stephens clerked for the Honorable Lance M. Africk in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Mr. Stephens is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. During his time in the Marines, Mr. Stephens served a tour of duty forward deployed in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon completing his service with the Marines, Mr. Stephens was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant.
